SOUTH AFRICA'S BIGGEST INVESTOR MARKETING AGENCY CONCLUDES MAJOR B-BBEE DEAL

South Africa’s leading investor marketing agency, Ince (Pty) Limited, has significantly transformed its shareholding structure with KhumaloCo, led by media entrepreneur Andile Khumalo, increasing its interest in Ince to 26%. Additionally, Isiqhingi Communications, Ince’s employee investment scheme, will own a further 4% stake, increasing Ince’s total Black ownership to 30%.
This has resulted in an improvement in Ince’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) rating from a Level 8 to Level 2. The two other major Ince shareholders, the Atkinson Family and JSE-listed, Caxton, disposed of 16% and 10%, respectively, to KhumaloCo.
INCE CLINCHES BEE DEAL WITH ANDILE KHUMALO

Business person Andile Khumalo has bought a 26% stake in family-owned communications and marketing agency Ince, in a move that will improve the company’s BEE status and its offering to clients.
Khumalo bought the shares from Caxton, which held 10%, and Ince founders, Atkinson Family, which disposed of 16% of the business. Ince’s employee investment scheme will own a further 4% stake, taking the company’s total BEE shareholding to 30%.

Transnet turned Take A Girl child to Work Day into something much more meaningful; a graduation ceremony complete with graduation robes, sashes, certificates - creating a memorable day for the young ladies.
Opportunities afforded to women often pale in comparison to their male counterparts. With the theme of Sparkle a Little Brighter, Transnet wanted to introduce young girls to the various opportunities open to them - and not just encourage - but show them that they can achieve even that which seems impossible.
YOUNG BUSINESSWOMAN WINS R50 000 FROM FIRSTWATCH

Owner of Precious and Pearl Brands, Mpho Mohaswa, exhibited superior business acumen as she beat local entrepreneurs at the Firstwatch Entrepreneurs Challenge, walking away with R50 000 support for her existing start-up business.
The Firstwatch Entrepreneurs Challenge final round took place during the past weekend at Disoufeng Pub in Soweto. The chosen top 10 candidates had five minutes to pitch their business ideas in front of an audience and panel of judges.
Mohaswa said she felt very good about winning the challenge as it showed that all the hard work that she had put into the business was finally paying off.
The Firstwatch Entrepreneurs Challenge was designed and activated by Loxyion Conexyion, a khumalo.co company, on behalf of Firstwatch.

"I’m going to give them what they want, when they want it, at a price that is accessible, and on a platform they want". That’s the promise of businessman Andile Khumalo as he articulates his vision for a new approach to media investment in SA in the face of digital disruption.
Khumalo, an accountant who has worked for Investec, Deloitte and served on the board of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, is perhaps best known as a former host of Power 98.7’s Power Business talk show. He was also treasurer of the Black Business Council as well as a non-executive director of SAA from 2012 to 2014. In 2007 he joined MSG Afrika Group, headed by Given Mkhari, as an equity partner.

Andile Khumalo is House of Brave's new non-executive chairman. This follows the agency's BEE transaction earlier this year that saw group CEO Karabo Songo and chief future officer Musa Kalenga acquire an initial 25.1% of the Group through its investment division Fastgro, and is as a major step towards enhancing the partnership between its shareholders.
Khumalo is a CA by profession and the CIO of MSG Afrika. He is also a former member of the Takeover Regulations Panel of South Africa. He has served as a non-executive director of South African Airways, president of Abasa and treasurer of the Black Business Council.
